Is the Quality Department treated as non-essential in your company? Are you or your Quality co-workers frustrated by a communications barrier with Executive Management? Do your Quality goals take a back seat to other business objectives?

It may be time to align your Quality initiatives with your company’s strategic plan. Using a tool that has been available for years, but too few use, you can link Quality activities with your company’s most important objectives.

It’s time to break out of your malaise! Our speaker, Jim Creiman, will show you how to develop specific action plans that drive the business and lead to organizational (and personal) success.

About the Tutorial:

In October, the following Tutorial was held.

As part of quality planning, a strategic assessment of a corporation’s position should be undertaken to identify the critical issues that will impact the ability to move the organization towards their mission and vision. A SWOT assessment is essential for identifying areas of Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats.

Come help the Board with your input and learn how to use the SWOT analysis. As part of our planning session for the section, we used SWOT to determine what we believe are the weakness and improvements for the section. Now is your turn to provide feedback to the Board and to have some fun.

For those who have not used SWOT in the past, we will walk you through the steps so you will be able to apply it in your job the next day. For those who have used SWOT in the past, it should be a great refresher. Either way, come and provide your input to the direction of the section.

The response was fantastic, and we are now presenting the results of the SWOT analysis and will review the process and potential improvements that will come out of the analysis.
