End of Year Wrap-up.
Thanks to our members for helping make this a great Program Year.
We have had some interesting programs, some new events and hope to continue this year’s success into the next year.
The Board will be addressing most of the issues brought up during the SWOT Analysis that was started. Look forward to improvements coming up. The input will be the primary discussion at the year-end Strategy meeting.
The website will also be updated (mostly content) over the summer and should be checked somewhat regularly if you are interested in keeping up with the Membership news.
The proposed schedule of next year’s events will be announced soon, as well as some opportunities for the membership to help implement some of the suggestions that we have received over the last year.
Website Hosting Issues
Unfortunately, the hosting company was having issues last night after 5:30pm. The issues were not resolved until this 7:20am morning.
If you were trying to connect to the ASQ Baltimore or ASQ JobSeekers website last night, please try again.
This was affecting both the ASQ Baltimore website and the ASQ Baltimore JobSeekers website. We are working on resolving the various issues that we have been experiencing over the past year.
Thank you.
Eric F, Webmaster, ASQ Baltimore

Website Feature: Events / Calendar
Not only is there a new Calendar of Events where the events are displayed in a calendar and a listing, but there are areas on the sidebar (to the right) that will keep you informed of today’s events as well as upcoming events over the few weeks. The Calendar of Events and the Events listings on the side of the website will always have the latest data in them for local Quality Events.
Hovering your mouse pointer over an event may provide a little more detail than the title does. Additionally, the items are color coded to separate the various types of items – ASQ Baltimore, ASQ other, Certification, etc. And if you click on the title, your browser will take you to the relevant website.
This allows you to regularly keep up with local goings-on within the Quality Community in a more timely fashion than before.
If you have an event that is not listed and you wish it to be provided to the membership, please send it on to

Jobseekers Website
If you have not already noticed, there have not only been changes made to the main ASQ Baltimore website, but also the JobSeekers website, now located at http://www.asqbaltimore.org/jobseekers/.
The new website now has a regularly maintained Calendar of Events (Career Fair/Job related) and a new feature where relevant articles regarding various issues surrounding the Job Search are provided for the membership to view. This is in addition to the Job Ads that are continued to be posted when available.
Additionally, the website now maintains a database listing of all of the links that used to be included in the Jobseekers Packet (including training, a large local company list, tips, news, etc). These lists are now computerized and can be displayed in a variety of ways as needed. Additionally, there have been a significant number of updates to the items on the list. The website will also regularly check for broken links, so hopefully the list of links will remain fresh.
The Yahoo Groups that currently maintain the email list of ASQ Balt Jobseekers will continue to function for now, but a new, different subscription system may be implemented in the near future.
If you have any questions, please check out the site and/or email the Placement Chair at .
Thank you
